Kewanee police blotter for Nov. 2

Riley D. McLean, 18, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for residential burglary, aiding/abetting/possession/sell of a stolen vehicle, theft, and retail theft following a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 300 block of Liberty Lane. No bond was posted. He was also charged with criminal trespass to state supported property, possession of meth less than 5 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 2000 block of Kentville Road.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 100 block of West South Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Main Street.

Police issued a verbal warning following a traffic stop at Mill and Tenney Streets.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 1800 block of Lake Street.

A traffic accident was reported in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

A vehicle operated by Amalio Velazquez, 74, Monmouth, struck an unoccupied vehicle owned by Jetara D. Johnson, 26, Kewanee, following a report of a damage-only traffic accident in the 600 block of West Fourth Street. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

An animal was impounded in the 400 block of Franklin Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of McKinley Avenue.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at Fairview Homes.

Police responded to a report of a barking dog in the 400 block of South Tremont Street.

Andraysia M. Castillo, was arrested for theft following a report of theft under $500 in the 600 block of North Jackson Street. She was given a notice to appear.
