Kewanee High School’s boys and girls golf teams competed Monday in matches at Baker Park.
The boys team played against Bureau Valley and Erie-Prophetstown. The Storm golfers’ team total of 165 took first place, followed by E-P at 191 and the Boilers at 223.
Owen Laue paced the Kewanee team with a 48, followed by Jack Anderson 54, Dalton Bender 59 and Carver Neuleib 62.
Bureau Valley’s Wyatt Novotny was the match medalist with a 37. Other scores counting for the Storm were Drake Michlig 42, Landen Birdsley 43 and Colin Stabler 44.
The girls team played a dual match against Erie-Prophetstown and fell 205-245.
Eleanor Burkhart’s 47 led the way for the Boiler Girls, followed by Hope Peed 51, Charlotte Burkhart 79 and Kira Alsup 68.
