Two years have passed since Damon Foulks of Peoria was found shot and killed in the roadway on West Division Street in Kewanee.
In a news release Tuesday, Kewanee police said the homicide investigation remains open.
Foulks, 50, was found dead in the 800 block of West Division Street on June 8, 2024. Investigators continue to seek information from anyone who may know something about the incident.
“Even the smallest detail may assist investigators as they continue working to bring answers to this case,” the release said.
In June 2024, the Illinois State Police issued a news release identifying a person of interest in the case and seeking information on his whereabouts. The Kewanee Voice contacted the ISP to ask whether that individual was still being sought, but officials declined to comment.
