
Logan Peed went 3 for 4 and drove in three runs to lead the Kewanee Boilermakers baseball team to an 8-2 win over visiting Mendota Monday.
Peed also went all seven innings on the mound, giving up eight hits and two runs.

The Boilers scored a run in the first inning and three in the second, taking a 4-0 lead into the fourth.
The Trojans scored twice in the fourth to make it 4-2. But the hosts responded with a three-spot in the bottom of the inning to make it 7-2.
Isaiah Ince, Jackson Price and Rafael Palma also drove in runs for Kewanee.
