To wrap up their regular season, the Flying Geese traveled to United High School to face the Red Storm.
The Geese fell to United 60-38.
From the start, it was clear both teams were ready to compete.
The game began with the Geese controlling the ball, but it quickly turned into a back-and-forth battle.
After a scramble for possession, the Red Storm scored the first points of the night. The Geese struggled early, but after United built a small lead, Alejandro Garcia energized the team with a big three-point shot to put the Geese on the scoreboard.
For a brief moment, the Geese closed the gap. However, the Red Storm pulled ahead again and finished the first quarter leading 5-15.
In the second quarter, both teams found their rhythm. Shots were falling on both ends of the court, and the energy remained high.
Even though the Geese worked hard to chip away at the lead, the Red Storm managed to stay in control. At halftime, the score stood at 15-26.
The second half brought even more intensity, as the Geese came out determined and ready to fight.
Collin Hodge set the tone early, putting up a two-point shot to start the half.
The game grew more physical, with fouls, free throws and strong defensive plays from both sides. By the end of the third quarter, the Red Storm still held the lead, 42–30.
In the final quarter, the Geese refused to back down. They played with heart and hustle, attacking the basket and pushing the pace.
Despite their effort, the Red Storm held firm and secured the win, finishing the game 38-60.

Several players stepped up for the Geese. Freshman Isaiah Cornish led the team with eight points. Senior Drew Hornback, junior Reese Rumbold, and junior Hodge each added seven points, while sophomore Garcia contributed six.
Although the regular season ended in a loss, the Geese now look ahead to a new opportunity.
On Saturday, they will compete in their first game of the 2026 LTC Tournament, ready for another chance to prove themselves.
