The village of Annawan Parks and Recreation will hold a Love Light Tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. at the old downtown Community Center Park in Annawan.
Residents are invited to submit the names of loved ones to be memorialized or honored to the Love Light Committee.
Donations of $5 per name, made out to the Annawan Parks and Recreation, should be submitted along with the form. The form is available at the Annawan village office, located at 200 North Meadow Lane, Suite 1, the Annawan Library, the Purple Onion and both banks, BankORION and the PNB Annawan Banking Center.
The memorial names will be read on Nov. 24. Anyone with questions can contact the village office Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 309-935-6226.
The proceeds from the lighting ceremony will go towards funding the village’s new community center.
