St. Peter’s Church, located at 119 S. Grove St., is once again holding its annual pie sale fundraiser. The St. Peter’s Pie Peddlers Annual Pie Sale will be held on Sept. 28, but orders are now being taken.
Two sizes of pies will be offered, mini and 9-inch, in two flavors-apple and mixed berry. The cost of the mini pies are $6 and the cost for the larger pies are $13. Regular or sugar-free varieties are available.
The St. Peter’s Women’s Guild puts on the sale each year and orders can be placed by calling the church office at (309) 853-2216. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to noon daily. The deadline to place an order is Sept. 4.
The pies are all handmade, fresh and then frozen for convenience. Instructions for the ready-to-bake pies are included.
Pies can be picked up on Saturday, Sept. 28 in the church’s Fellowship Hall from 9-11 a.m.
