On July 4, the St. Jude Kewanee to Peoria Run began to post items up for silent auction to the team’s Facebook page. The online auction is being held in conjunction with a bingo fundraiser and both will benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
All auction items have been collected by St. Jude K2P runners or volunteers and generously donated by local businesses and larger organizations.
The silent Facebook auction will be ongoing until Sunday, July 14 at 10 a.m. with the highest bids collected and announced at the Bingo and Silent Auction at Timeout Pub & Grub, located at 207 E. 7th St. The two-hour bingo event begins at 12:30 p.m.
Bingo will start at 1 p.m. and the first bingo card is free. There is a $5 fee for each additional card and the bar and grill’s kitchen is open from noon to 4 p.m.
All ages are welcome to attend and proceeds will be donated to St. Jude. The public is invited to join organizers for fun and bid on favorite items at the Bingo & Silent Auction for St Jude | Facebook. Click on the discussion tab of the event to see the auction items.
