Kewanee’s treasured Woodland Palace at Francis Park is deteriorating. The Kewanee Preservation Society and the City of Kewanee will hold an informational meeting to discuss the future of Woodland Palace on Tuesday, June 25 at 6 p.m., at the Kewanee High School Petersen Auditorium.
They hope to form a private sector committee dedicated to the renovation and maintenance of this local landmark. If you have a passion for Kewanee and its history, please attend. You can contact Mark Mikenas, president of the Kewanee Preservation Society, for details.
