The Annawan Bravettes beat Henry (Senachwine) Thursday night in the Class 1A Henry Regional championship match 25-15, 25-18.
No. 1 seeded Annawan (27-6) will now take on the No. 2 seed Monmouth-United (23-12) Monday at 7 pm in the Princeville Sectional semifinals.
United hung on for a three-set win over Sciota (West Prairie) 25-18, 23-25, 25-16. United and AHS battled earlier in October. The Bravettes won that match, 25-15, 25-19.
Annawan’s 27 wins ties the school record set by the 2022 team for wins in a single season.
