The Annawan Bravettes defeated Abingdon-Avon Wednesday night 25-12, 25-16 in Lincoln Trail Conference action.
With the win, the Bravettes claimed sole possession of the LTC crown with a record of 10-1 in conference play and 25-6 on the season. This is Annawan’s first LTC volleyball title since 2002.
The team is coached by Gina Peterson and Tammy Celus.
The Annawan frosh/soph team won in three sets, 25-17, 19-25, 15-10. They end their season at 9-16 overall and 6-5 in LTC play.
