The annual “Blessings of the Animals” will be held on the front steps of St. John’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 2 to 4 pm. The church is located at 123 S. Chestnut Street.
People planning to attend and bring their pets for blessings are asked to leash their dogs and bring their cats in carriers. In the event of rain, the event will be held in the narthex.
