Kewanee police blotter for Sept. 12

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Florence Street and Railroad Avenue.

An accident involving vehicles driven by Kassidee A. Swan, 22, Kewanee and Casilda Aguilar Garcia, 36, Kewanee, occurred at Third and East streets. There were no injuries, but Swan was cited for failure to yield and issued a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 300 block of Freedom Lane.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Midland Road and South Street.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 300 block of Tenney Street.

An animal was impounded from the 500 block of East 8th Street.

An animal at large, dog or domestic animal, was reported in the 600 block of Page Street.

A suspicious person was reported in the 27800 block of North 500 Avenue.

A warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 400 block of East 3rd Street.

Jacob A. Metscaviz, 42, was arrested on a Henry County warrant and possession of a controlled substance following the police’s attempt to serve a warrant at First and Vine streets. Metscaviz was unable to post bond and taken to the Henry County Jail.

A disturbance, neighborhood trouble was reported in the 200 block of West Church Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South Cottage Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 400 block of Tenney Street.

Anthony D. David, 25, Kewanee, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration following a traffic stop in the 600 block of North East Street. He was issued a notice to appear.
