Kewanee weekend police blotter for August 25-27

Friday:

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 200 block of Elliott Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 700 block of East Second Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 700 block of East Fourth Street.

Yashia R. Vasquez, 37, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for retail theft less than $300, driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 400 block of East Third Street. She was unable to post bond and transported to the Henry County Jail.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Freedom Lane.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 600 block of Cole Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of East Fourth Street.

Maria Garcia Cervantez, 37, Kewanee, was issued citations for driving with a suspended license, no insurance and operating a vehicle with suspended registration for no insurance following a traffic stop at Division Street and Morton Avenue. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls at Fifth Street and Grace Avenue.

Saturday:

Lee A. Wright, 54, Kewanee, and Tamia R.J. Howell, 21, Kewanee, were both issued notices to appear for trespass to state-supported-land following a report of theft under $500 in the 200 block of Community Square.

An animal at large was reported at Sixth and Adams streets.

An animal at large was reported at George and Williams streets.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of West Prospect Street.

An animal was impounded in the 500 block of South Chestnut Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 900 block of North Chestnut Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of North Adams Street.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 800 block of Rockwell Street.

Storm R. Ince, 23, Kewanee, was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop at First and Walnut streets. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 100 block of East Third Street.

Sunday:

An animal at large was reported in the 1400 block of Lake Street.

An animal was impounded in the 1600 block of East Seventh Street.

Police responded to a report of the carry/ discharge of an air rifle on a public street in the 900 block of Willow Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North Adams Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Main Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Brandon L. Bryner, 26, Davenport, IA, was cited for speeding (42/30) following a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Main Street. He was given a notice to appear.

An animal at large was reported at Fourth Street and North Grace Avenue.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Burlington Avenue and Page Street.

Sarah E. Llyod, 18, Aledo, was cited for operating a vehicle with expired registration following a traffic stop in the 200 block of West South Street. She was given a notice to appear.
