Kewanee police blotter for August 8

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of South Elm Street.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious auto at Northeast Park.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 100 block of Smith Street.

Corowin K. Nussear, 18, Hooppole, and Lucas P. Ensley, 18, Neponset, were issued notices to appear for disturbing the peace following a report of reckless driving in the 1000 block of Terry Avenue.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 100 block of Norton Street in Neponset.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Florence Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of North Burr Boulevard.

Fraud was reported in the 300 block of West Oak Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 100 block of West Kellogg Street.

Breanna N. Stevens, 24, Cambridge, was issued a citation for expired registration following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Tenney Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Keywon Nichols, 20, Kewanee, and a parked vehicle owned by Areale Taylor, 38, Kewanee, at South Vine and Willow streets. No injuries were reported. Nichols was issued a citation for improper lane usage and was issued a notice to appear.
