Kewanee weekend police blotter for July 21-23

Friday:

Police responded to a report of criminal trespass to residence in the 300 block of Rainbow Way.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 200 block of South Park Street.

A hit and run accident was reported at Tenth and East streets.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 200 block of South Vine Street.

A 16-year-old female was cited for speeding (48/30) following a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Main Street. She was given a notice to appear.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of East Ninth Street.

Saturday:

Mikeal Barnes, 42, Kewanee, was arrested for failure to appear on charges of attempting to elude an officer and operating an uninsured motor vehicle following a report of a suspicious person in the 600 block of Tenney Street. He was unable to post bond and transported to the Henry County Jail.

Chase R. Vanwynsberghe, 22, Kewanee, was issued a citation for speeding (41/30) following a traffic stop in the 400 block of South Tremont Street. He was given a notice to appear.

An animal at large was reported in the 1000 block of North East Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Freedom Lane.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 900 block of West Prospect Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of East Church Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 900 block of East Tenney Street.

Jeffrey D. Haynes, 32, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Fairview Home. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Edwards Street.

Sunday:

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 1100 block of June Street.

An animal was impounded in the 600 block of North East Street.

An animal was impounded at Division Street and Fischer Avenue.

An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of Eustis Street.

Donna M. Hughes, 41, Kewanee, was arrested on a Mercer County warrant for sex exploitation of a child/ sexual activity following a civil standby in the 400 block of East College Street. She posted bond and was released with a notice to appear.

An animal was impounded at Dewey Avenue and Dodge Street.
Police responded to a report of an intoxicated person in the 800 block of Lake Street.

Dylan M. Hurley, 21, Kewanee, was issued citations for speeding (39/30) and expired registration following a traffic stop at Miner and Page streets. He was given a notice to appear.
