Biird, all‑female Irish lineup, to perform in Cambridge

By The Kewanee Voice    August 11, 2026
Biird will perform this month at the Ca d’Zan House.

Crossroads Cultural Connections will present Biird, an all-female Irish supergroup at Ca d’Zan House Concerts on Monday, Aug. 17. Ca d’zan House is located at 197 CR-16 in Cambridge.

The Irish supergroup Biird is made up of Lisa Canny, Niamh Hinchy, Laura Doherty, Ciara Murphy, Zoran Donohoe, Miadhachlughain O’Donnell, Sal Heneghan, Hannah Hiemstra and others.

After appearing on the Late Late Show in February 2025 the group went on to sell out every show on their debut Hystorical Tour, including Vicar Street in Dublin. They then went on to play the MainStage at Altogether Now to 15,000 fans.

In addition to their own headline tour, Biird will also be supporting Ed Sheeran on the U.S. leg of his Loop tour, with performances at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ford Field in Detroit and the Met Life Stadium in New Jersey. This comes after previously supporting him in Europe in 2025 and Australia and New Zealand at the beginning of 2026.

The evening begins with a community potluck at 6 p.m. The potluck is optional but is a great chance to connect with others in the audience and maybe even share a meal with the artist. Participants are welcome to bring any type of dish they’d like to share. The concert follows at 7 p.m. Attendees should also bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. A donation of $25 to $35 is suggested, and music lovers of all ages are welcome

Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, this concert continues the organization’s mission of bringing meaningful, high-quality live music experiences to Henry County and surrounding communities.
