This weekend the Ca d’Zan porch concerts in Cambridge are hopping with live performances on Friday, Saturday and Monday. Friday evening Abigayle Oakley will perform, followed by Heart Collectors on Saturday evening and Ger O Donnell on Monday. Prior to each concert will be a community potluck at 6 p.m. with the concert taking place at 7 p.m. A donation of $20–30 is requested.
Saturday is chock full of events, starting with Mineral Fun Day. The family-friendly event features numerous activities guaranteed to entertain everyone.
Saturday morning is the Kewanee High School Trophy and Award Sale from 9 a.m. to noon at the KHS Golby Student Center. Proceeds benefit the Kewanee Booster Club, which supports student athletes and programs. Help out the boosters and grab some great memorabilia at the same time.
Also on Saturday, Wiebler’s Harley Davidson at 623 N. Main St. is holding a Summer Bash from noon to 3 p.m. The community is invited to the event, which will feature bikes, BBQ, tattoos, coffee, live music and fun.
Those looking for a little physical activity or wanting to help out a great cause can wrap up the weekend at the KHS Key Club Pickleball Tournament and Used Sports Equipment Drive at Northeast Park from 2–6 p.m. on Sunday.
