At 4-years-old and 63 pounds, Lokka is a sweet, easygoing girl who loves kids, gets along with cats and believes firmly in the power of a good cuddle.
She likes to lean in close for hugs, happily flops onto her back for belly rubs and will offer a soft howl if she thinks you’ve forgotten she’s there. She doesn’t bark much, but she does enjoy being noticed.
Lokka listens well, knows a few commands and returns to her kennel when asked, usually with the hope that a treat is waiting. She keeps her space spotless and has made it clear that cold weather is not her preferred season.
She is fully vetted, including her rabies shot, microchip, flea treatment and all current vaccines. She has tested negative for heartworm and is on prevention medication. Lokka is spayed and has had a litter in the past.
Anyone visiting the shelter will likely find her rolled over, paws in the air, waiting for someone to offer the belly rubs she loves most. To meet Lokka, stop by the shelter during business hours or call 309‑852‑0040. Her adoption fee is $100.
