Abilities Plus clients recently accepted a check for $1,403.40 on behalf of the Abilities Plus Agency, raised through the annual Save‑A‑Lot customer roundup fundraiser.

Executive Director Kim Walker expressed her appreciation.

“We would like to thank the Kewanee Save‑A‑Lot employees who organized and promoted the fundraiser, and the generous customers who donated to this cause,” she said.

Abilities Plus serves children and adults with disabilities in Henry, Stark and western Bureau Counties. Some of its programs are offered in the home, while others occur at the Kewanee agency.
