If you stop by the Kewanee Humane Society this week, you’ll likely notice Crue before anyone even points him out. This three‑year‑old Tabby has a way of making his presence known, and it’s part of what makes him so endearing.
Crue came to the shelter about a month ago as an owner surrender when his family had to move somewhere he couldn’t go. He arrived with a small wound on his face and neck, but he’s healed beautifully and is more than ready for a fresh start.
He’s a people‑oriented cat through and through. Pick him up, and he settles in immediately, purring with a deep, steady rumble that leaves no doubt he’s happy to be in your arms. When he’s out of his kennel, he loves stretching his legs, chasing toys and checking in on his feline neighbors. His curiosity is constant—he’ll often climb to the highest perch he can find so he can keep an eye on everything happening below.
Crue is fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea‑treated, dewormed, and up to date on his distemper shot. At 11 pounds, he’s the perfect size for a lap or a sunny windowsill.
If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, energetic companion, Crue might be exactly who you’ve been hoping to meet.
Stop by the Kewanee Humane Society during business hours—and don’t forget to look up. Crue will probably be supervising from above.
