On Tuesday, the Flying Geese played the Princeville Princess on their home court.

After the Geese took home a neck-and-neck win over the Ridgewood Spartans just a few days earlier, they entered this game hoping to have a similar outcome.

The action started slowly, taking over half the first period before points were scored. Reese Rumbold made the first three-pointer for the Geese.

The period ended with the Geese down by 8-points, with a score of 8-16.

The second period saw the pace pick up, but the Princes still dominated the scoreboard. With the Geese scoring only 6 points, the final score before the half was 14-29.

The second period prevailed, with the Princes widening their lead on the Geese. The Geese fought hard, but it appeared the Princes had some unbeatable fire in their hearts.

The third period was a stronger one for the Geese. They scored 12 points, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough to dethrone the Princes.

The final score to this match-up was another Geese loss, with a final score of 33-56.

The lead scorers for this game were senior Drew Hornback with 7, junior Rumbold and sophomore Alejandro Garcia tying with 5, and junior Kruz Galbraith with 4.
