KHS wrestlers win two, lose one

Kewanee wrestling hosted two home meets before hosting the Kewanee invitational on Saturday, Jan. 9. 

Kewanee wrestlers put up a tough fight topping Princeton and Fulton but ultimately lost against Morrison. 

Kewanee wrestlers’ determination turned into success many times with countless wins by major decision this past week. This shows their practices and hard work paying off on the mat.

The wrestlers will be back in action duelling Orion on Thursday, and then traveling back to Orion and competing in their annual Friday and Saturday two-day tournament. 

KHS wrestlers will keep working and preparing as regionals (held in Princeton) quickly approach, hoping to move on to sectionals (held in Byron), and ultimately to state.
