On Sunday, Jan. 18, the Wethersfield High School Key Club will host their annual Daddy-Daughter Dance.

The event will be held from 5-7 pm in the jr. high gym at Wethersfield and is inclusive to all. The theme of this year’s dance will be Princess Ball.

During the dance, the atmosphere will fit the theme of a ball and attendees will be able to enjoy getting their photo taken, snacks, music and more.

The entry fee is $15 for adults. Kids are free when accompanied by an adult.

“I enjoy hosting the Daddy-Daughter Dance because it turns service into something fun and joyful,” said Key Club Advisor Adriana Garcia. “It gives the elementary students a night they’ll remember while teaching our Key Club members that leadership and service mean giving back and creating meaningful experiences for others.”

Starting the day of the dance, Key Club members will begin a raffle ticket fundraiser to help fund their upcoming District Convention Leadership Conference (DCLC) trip, which will be hosted in Springfield. There, members will take part in workshops, a service project and other activities.

The raffle tickets will be sold starting on Jan. 8 through Feb. 2. Winners will receive a basket filled with items of their choosing and be announced on Feb. 3.
