Kewanee gets volleyball win over Mendota

This week Kewanee Volleyball improved to 15-15-1 overall and 4-6 in conference with a win over Mendota.

The Boiler Girls won in two close sets, 25-21, 25-19.

Claire Taylor: 9 digs, 1 ace, 4 service points

Macy Anderson: 4 kills, 1 block, 2 aces, 5 service points

Lillie Hampton: 1 kill

Sara Reyes: 1 dig

Kolbie Cernovich: 6 kills, 1 dig

Damaris Diaz: 4 kills, 4 blocks, 1 dig, 2 service points

Macee Pickering: 4 kills, 12 assists, 3 aces, 11 service points

Remy Hicks: 1 dig

Bailey VanWinkle: 4 digs

Kieryn Abernathy: 1 kill, 1 block

Taylor VanWinkle: 6 digs, 2 aces, 7 service points

Kewanee JV won two and lost one: 25-19, 22-25, 25-19. The freshman team unfortunately lost both games: 20-25, 6-25 25-21, 25-19.
