Kewanee police blotter for Aug. 21

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of North Vine Street.

Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 700 block of East Third Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal trespass to real property in the 100 block of West Third Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 300 block of Liberty Lane.

Makayla A. Ezell, 28, Kewanee, was cited for speeding (42/30) following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Christopher R. Porter, 32, Sheffield, was cited for failure to secure a child under the age of 8 following a traffic stop in the 500 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Jeffrey P. Heinrich, 61, Kewanee, was cited for failure to wear a seat belt following a traffic stop at First and Main streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Angel F. Ibarra- Ledezma, 56, Kewanee, was cited for failure to wear a seat belt following a traffic stop at Second and Walnut streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Remedios C. Lopez, 59, Kewanee, was cited for failure to wear a seat belt following a traffic stop at Loomis and Main streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of Cole Street.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 100 block of Poplar Street.

Police responded to a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls at Washington Park in Galva.

William D. Schultz, 77, Kewanee, was arrested for driving on a revoked license following a traffic stop at Central Boulevard and Main Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Disorderly conduct, telephone threat was reported in the 700 block of East Second Street.
