Kewanee police blotter for Aug. 20

A damage-only traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Tina L. Hulslander, 56, Kewanee, and Abigail E. Wheelhouse, 29, Kewanee, was reported at Elliott and Prospect streets. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

A 17-year-old male was arrested for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Cottage Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Steven D. Walker, 33, Kewanee, was arrested in the 600 block of East Sixth Street on a DOC warrant and for original charges of resisting an officer with an injury. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 800 block of North Chestnut Street.

Matthew S. Nichol, 34, East Moline, was cited for driving while license is revoked following a traffic stop at College Street and East Street South. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 900 block of Dewey Avenue.

Amy M. Israel, 41, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for child truancy following a compalint of a suspicious person in the 1100 block of Rockwell Street. She was given a notice to appear.

David R. Herrick, 60, Kewanee, was cited for failure to wear safety belt following a traffic stop at Church and Tenney streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Clayton L. Wiggin, 42, Kewanee, was cited for speeding (45/35) following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property at Fairview Homes.

Robert L Poore, 49, Toulon, was cited for speeding (41/30) following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

J. D. Marcosonofre, 34, New York, was cited for speeding (43/30) following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Doroteo Duarte, 33, Galva, was cited for speeding (45/30) following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone threat in the 700 block of George Street.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of North Chestnut Street.
