GALVA, Ill. – Families are invited to a day of free fun, learning and hands-on activities at Farm in the Park on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Veteran’s Park in downtown Galva (across from the Illinois Extension office).
Hosted by University of Illinois Extension, this event highlights agriculture, horticulture and healthy living with something for everyone.
Kids can enjoy a free petting zoo, crafts, activity stations, interactive games and take-home prizes and educational materials.
A $5 lunch featuring a hot dog, chips, applesauce, cookie and drink will be available for purchase.
