The Kewanee Police Department is once again participating in the National Night Out, an event offering fun things to do for kids of all ages.
National Night Out in Kewanee will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Northeast Park.
“This family-friendly event is all about building strong connections between the community and public safety,” according to the police department’s Facebook page.
There will be activities, displays, a car show and a raffle of a Play Station 5 game console.
Raffle tickets are $5, and proceeds will go toward funding the local National Night out.
Tickets may be purchased through the department’s Facebook page.
The police department uses Zeffy to handle ticket purchases, so 100% of the money from raffle ticket sales goes to the department.
