Students William Ly and Katelyn Attig were named “Students of the Year” by the Kewanee Elks Lodge.
They competed against 150 students in each category.
The students’ accolades didn’t end there however, as Ly and Attig moved on to the district completion where they both received first place. From there, the students advanced to state where Attig placed first and Ly placed second.
They each received a certificate and scholarship awards for each level.
