Wethersfield High School held the last home meet of the season, other than Sectionals, last week.

Results for Annawan-Wethersfield athletes were:
Girls field events: Ava Salazar placed first in triple jump, Abby Carman placed first in pole vault and Jordan Nelson placed first in high jump. Also in field events, Leah Franklin placed fifth in shot put.
Boys field events: Ayden DeValkenaere placed third in shot put, and fifth in discus. Irvin Landwehr placed first in pole vault. Kaden Gradert placed fourth in high jump and second in triple jump. Parker Miskinis placed third in long jump.

In girls running events, A-W placed third in the 400, second in the 800, third in the 4×100, second in the 4×200, and third in the 4×400.

In boys running events: The Titans placed third in the 100, fourth in the 200, third in the 400, fourth in the 800, second in the mile, third in the two-mile, third in the 110 hurdles, first in the 4×100, second in the 4×200, third in the 4×800, and first in the 4×400 relay.
It was senior night, and all of the AW Titans were recognized and walked with their parents and families. A Wethersfield tradition on the last home meet of the season is the Throwers Relay. Each team picks four of their best throwers to run a 4×200. The winner gets a big sheet cake. This year, the Titans got the victory against Galva.
