By The Kewanee Voice    March 7, 2025

The Hammond-Henry Hospital Medical Group – Kewanee Clinic will begin a new Community Health Series on Tuesday, March 18.

These programs will be held four times throughout 2025 and are an opportunity for community members to learn about various health concerns and ask any questions they may have.

The programs will be held at the Kewanee Public Library Community Room located on the second floor and will be from noon – 1 p.m.

“We are excited to provide this opportunity for learning about your health. It is a great way to socialize with others in the community as well,” said Lora McKune, Kewanee clinic manager.

The first program will be held on Tuesday, March 18. The topic – Food Connects Us, will be presented by Kayla Jasperson, dietetic intern for the hospital.

The year will continue with the following dates and topics:

Tuesday, May 20 – Mental Health
Tuesday, September 16 – Sleep Issues
Tuesday, November 18 – Diabetes

A lunch will be provided at each program for the cost of $5 payable at the door. Cash and checks accepted.
