A night of great music and fun was had by all at the Kewanee High School Disney Spectacular. On Saturday, March 1, under the direction of Alex Binek and Brittany Krohn, the Kewanee High School Symphonic Band performed “A Disney Spectacular.”
The concert showcased the musical talents of 74 K.H.S. students and featured popular tunes from the Disney productions of: The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Encanto, Frozen, Moana and more. This family friendly show received great reviews from those in attendance.
K.H.S. student William Ly synced the band’s music with scenes from the Disney movies that were shown on a large screen behind the band.
“He did such a beautiful job I would have sworn it was done by a professional,” said concert attendee, TD Welch.
This annual sponsorship event was held in support of the KHS Music Department.
