Quarter Madness is back for 2025, bigger and better

By The Kewanee Voice    February 24, 2025

The Kewanee Rotary annual Quarter Madness is returning, bringing with it fast-paced excitement, prizes and fun. The event will take place at the Elks Lodge on Friday, March 14.

The high-energy raffle event offers plenty of chances to win prizes, including designer purses, power tools, gift baskets, tons of gift cards, and more. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and the madness begins at 6:30 p.m.

Quarter Madness isn’t just about winning; it’s about giving back. Proceeds from the event support the Prairie Chicken Arts Festival and the community projects of the Rotary Club of Kewanee Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and individuals, the two groups have been able to assemble a lineup of prizes. Those who would like to donate are asked to contact Dianne Packee at 309-312-0168.

Paddles are needed to participate- and the best way to secure one is to buy it in advance. Get paddles online at www.kewaneerotary.com or in person at Sutton & Associates, located at 100 N. Main St. and Country Financial at 100 E. Division St.

The event has three different types of paddles- Platinum paddles for $40, which are entered to win every prize and attendance of the event is not necessary. Gold paddles can be bought ahead of time or at the event. They are $30, but participants must attend. White paddles, only available for purchase the evening of the event, are just $5, but the participant must also bid the amount of the item’s value in quarters. Items up to $25 are one quarter, $26-50 are two quarters, $51-75 are three quarters and items $76 and up are four quarters per bid.
