The second annual Walk for Angel Babies will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, at Veteran’s Park on Front Street in Galva and across the street in the Crescent City Tap banquet room.
The walk in the park will be from 2-3 p.m. and walkers can walk whatever amount of time they are comfortable with.
A live auction, bake sale and 50/50 drawing will be held at the Crescent City Tap banquet room. The bake sale and 50/50 will begin at 2 p.m. with Auctioneer Travis Spivey starting the live auction with many donations at 3:30 p.m.
The walk is meant to bring awareness to stillbirth, pregnancy and infant loss, and benefits The Rorie Mae Foundation, a nonprofit that provides financial and emotional support for families.
