The Kewanee Park District and its board of commissioners are announcing a grand opening celebration of the new 19th Hole pavilion.
The pavilion has been in the works for months and now, almost completed, park officials are inviting the public to come see it. The grand opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Park Board Commissioners will be on hand for a meet and greet with attendees, who can enter to win gift cards, prizes, passes and more. Light snacks will be served.
The event coincides with the park district’s celebration of 105 years of Kewanee parks.
