Want to catch up on your reading, for just a little money?
Then be at the Johnson Appliances parking lot at First and Chestnut streets early on Saturday morning of Hog Days.
The Friends of the Kewanee Public Library will hold their used-book sale from 7-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, on the parking lot.
A wide variety of books will be available for browsing, and will be available at very low prices.

“All of us here at the Kewanee Public Library want to take this moment to say thank you to Johnson Appliances for lending out their space and to everyone in the community, including our Friends,” said a post on the library’s website. “We could not do this without all of your support,” the post continued.
In the event of rain, the book sale will be canceled.
