Kewanee police blotter for August 8

Jordan A. Hart. 32, Kewanee, was arrested for battery and criminal trespass to state-supported-property following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Rainbow Way. He was given a notice to appear.

An animal was impounded in the 800 block of Lake Street.

Scott A. Peed, 42, Kewanee, was issued a notice to appear for illegal burning following a report of illegal burning in the 300 block of East Prospect Street.

Storm R. Ince, 24, Kewanee, was arrested for a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear for violating order of protection and violating bail bond following an in-state warrant in the 1000 block of Rose Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported at Prospect Street and Ridyard Avenue.

A damage-only traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male, Castleton, that struck a vehicle driven by Janet M. Hoadley, 75, Kewanee, was reported in the 300 block of Tenney Street. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

An animal was impounded in the 400 block of North Grove Street.

Police responded to a report of non-criminal damage to property in the 200 block of North Boss Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 300 block of East Third Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Nelson Avenue.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 200 block of East Division Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Terry R. Abbot, 60, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for theft of utility services following a report of an in-state warrant in the 300 block of Helmer Street. Mikeal G. Barnes, 43, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, retail theft, and unlawful interference of a public utility. Both were transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of an animal bite in the 600 block of Willow Street.
