Monday will be Kids Day at the Hog Days Festival.

Kids will be able to watch — and participate in — a variety of fun activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Most will be held in the Peoples National Bank parking lot at Third and Tremont streets; all are free of charge.

A highlight of the day will be two performances by Mr. Steve. The shows start at noon and around 2:30 p.m. and run for 45 to 50 minutes. Designed for the 12 and older age group, the show mixes comedy and music. Those attending should bring lawn chairs.
