Kewanee weekend police blotter for June 14-16

Friday:

Police responded to a report of retail theft in the 200 block of North East Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 300 block of West Oak Street.

Police e responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 500 block of South Main Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 200 block of Tenney Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of North East Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls at Kent Road and Railroad Avenue.

Jared A. Gould, 18, Kewanee, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended following a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Main Street. He was given a notice to appear.

April L. Merritt, 42, Kewanee, was issued a notice to appear for criminal trespass to land following a report of a residential burglary in the 600 block of Cole Street.

Police responded to a report of a barking dog at East Street and Edgewood Drive.

Saturday:

Police responded to a report of theft over $500 in the 200 block of Community Square.

Darrian A. Harris, 24, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for DUI, unlawful use of cannabis, transportation/carry of alcohol, and seat belt violation following a report of an in-state warrant in the 800 block of Lake Street. No bond was posted and she was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a barking dog in the 600 block of South Grove Street.

Paige L. Garrigan, 26, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for domestic battery and on a Mercer County warrant for failure to appear for unlawful possession of meth following an in-state warrant in the 800 block of East Third Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of criminal trespass to real property in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Joey A. Desmit, 50, Kewanee, was issued a citation for expired registration following a traffic stop at Burlington Avenue and Division Street. Desmit was given a notice to appear.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North Burr Boulevard.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone threat in the 100 block of East Seventh Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 400 block of Otley Avenue.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of Rose Street.

Derek R. Johnson, 36, Kewanee, was cited for expired registration following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Lake Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Sunday:

Jonathan J. Sterling, 33, Kewanee, was arrested for theft x2 following a report of theft in the 800 block of Columbus Avenue. He was given notices to appear.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 800 block of South Beach Street.

Police responded to a report of a hit and run accident in the 100 block of East McClure Street.

An animal at large was reported at First and Main streets.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of East Garfield Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal trespass to real property in the 300 block of East Garfield Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 400 block of East Ninth Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of West Division Street.
