Braveheart Children’s Advocacy Center recently received a visit and a generous donation from the Henry County Fair Queens.

The queens, Berkley Granell, London Fulks and Tessa Courtright, dropped off a variety of art supplies, snacks, and office necessities in an effort to support the children and families served by the center.

According to a news release, the contribution will enhance the resources available to Braveheart CAC, helping to create a more welcoming and supportive environment for the children and families the agency assists.

The art supplies are used in therapeutic activities, allowing children to express themselves creatively as part of their healing process. The snacks will provide much-needed comfort and nourishment during their visits, and the office necessities will ensure operations run smoothly.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Henry County Fair Queens for their kindness and generosity,” said Jackie Diediker, executive director at Braveheart CAC. “Their support is invaluable in helping us provide the best possible services to the children and families who rely on us. These donations will make a meaningful difference in our daily work and in the lives of those we serve.”

Braveheart Children’s Advocacy Center collaborates with various agencies, including DCFS, law enforcement, and mental health professionals, to provide specialized and high quality services to abused children and their families.

The stated mission is to offer a coordinated response that alleviates stress during the investigation and intervention stages, ensuring consistent support from the initial visit to the resolution of each case. The news release goes on to state that the queens’ donation is a “wonderful example of community members coming together to support a vital cause.”

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to Miss Henry County London Fulks, Jr. Miss Tessa Courtright, Little Miss Berkley Granell and their pageant community for their dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children,” said Diediker.
