Kewanee police blotter for May 14

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of West Church Street.

A damage-only traffic accident involving vehicles driven by a 16-year-old female juvenile, Kewanee, and James T. Wadkins, 33, Davenport, was reported at Second Street and Stanton Court. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 100 block of North Vine Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of North Adams Street.

Theft over $500 was reported in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Police responded to a report of child abandonment in the 300 block of Rainbow Way.

An animal was impounded at Burlington Avenue and Prospect Street.

Derek B. Camp, 21, Princeton, was cited for no valid registration following a traffic stop at Main and Oak streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop at Lyle and Main streets.

Virgil G. Vanwynsberg, 44, Kewanee, was cited for driving while license revoked following a report of a motorist assist at Second and East streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of North Lakeview Avenue.

Megan B. Carter, 31, Kewanee, and Chelsie R. Shaw, 29, Kewanee, were both arrested for criminal trespass to real property following a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of East Third Street. They were given notices to appear.
