Kewanee police blotter for May 1

Police responded to a disturbance, fights-riot-brawls in the 500 block of South Main Street.

Criminal trespass to real property was reported in the 100 block of North Park Street.

Retail theft/shoplifting was reported in the 200 block of North East Street.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of North East Street.

Robert M. Heck, 55, Kewanee, was arrested for violating an order of protection after police responded to a complaint in the 400 block of South Elm Street. Heck was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Chad W. Wilkins, 50, Wyoming, was arrested for a DOC warrant/parole violation after police responded to a request for a citizen assist in the 1000 block of North Main Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A report of theft was made in the 800 block of Beach Street.

Police responded to a report of illegal burning in the 400 block of North Adams Street.

An animal/dog at large was reported in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Police assisted the Henry County Sheriff’s Office in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Police responded to a request to remove an unwanted subject in the 400 block of West Fourth Street.

Police responded to a report of a burglary to a building in the 1600 block of Burlington Avenue.

Illegal burning was reported in the 500 block of East Seventh Street.
Police assisted the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at North Main and East Sixth streets.

Illegal burning was reported in the 400 block of North Adams Street.

Erica N. Grabbe, 30, Kewanee, was cited for driving with a suspended license and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. She was given a notice to appear.
