Kewanee police blotter for April 22

Edgar Torres Paredes, 27, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery, unlawful restraint, aggravated battery to a pregnant person, and aggravated battery in a public place following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Nelson Avenue. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A damage-only traffic accident involving a vehicle operated by Veronica Mayorga Delgato, 27, Kewanee, that struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle owned by Donald R. Peed, 58, Kewanee, was reported in the 600 block of South Tremont Street. No injuries were reported. Delgato was cited for failure to reduce speed. She was given a notice to appear.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Fischer and Ladd avenues.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone threat in the 400 block of East Prospect Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Community Square.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 800 block of West Prospect Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Community Square.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 400 block of West Division Street.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 400 block of East Second Street.

Rodney M. Smith, 31, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Community Square. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Theft over $500 was reported in the 100 block of West South Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 200 block of West Third Street.

A 16-year-old male was arrested for aggravated battery following a report of a juvenile disturbance in the 1000 block of North Main Street. He was given a juvenile referral.

A 13-year-old female was arrested for aggravated battery following a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 400 block of United Lane. She was given a juvenile referral.
