Dave Clarke will be honored as this year’s Outstanding Citizen at the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Citizen Award Banquet.
Clarke, a longtime Kewanee journalist for WKEI Radio, the Star Courier and The Kewanee Voice, will be honored for his commitment to keeping Kewanee-area residents informed about their communities.
He is also an authority on the history of Kewanee and Wethersfield and has written and spoken extensively on the topic.
The awards banquet will be on May 14 at Midland Golf Club. A social hour will start at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30.
Tickets are $25 per person. Those attending should RSVP to the Chamber of Commerce office by May 10.
