Braden Clark will be taking his basketball skills to Illinois College in Jacksonville, starting in 2024-2025.

Clark finished his career as the second all-time leading scorer at KHS with 1,802 points. During his senior year, he was an IBCA Third Team selection and an Illinois Media All-State Honorable Mention selection.

He was also a unanimous First Team All-TRAC selection and made the TRAC Academic All-Conference team. In addition, Clark was invited to play in the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-Star team for Class 1A/2A.

Clark will be joining a Blueboys team that is coming off a very successful 2023-24 season. They lost a tough 68-67 overtime game to Washington University (St. Louis) during the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The Blueboys’ milestone season ended with a record of 24-5.

It marked the program’s third NCAA Tourney appearance, but it was the first time they reached the second round. The 2023-24 team won both the Midwest Conference regular season and tournament titles for the second consecutive year.
