Class 2A
The Boiler Girls (10-17) are a 5-seed in the Chillicothe (IVC) Regional, which is part of the Canton Sectional Complex.
During quarterfinals action, Kewanee will play host to Farmington (4-26), an 8-seed, at 6 p.m. Saturday at H.F. Brockman Gym.
The winner will face top-seeded Peoria (Notre Dame) in the regional semis at 6 p.m. Monday in Chillicothe. The Irish are 27-4 and were ranked No. 1 in the final AP state rankings.
On the other side of the bracket, IVC (5) will play Orion (12) at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Chillicothe. The winner will play Sherrard (4) at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Chillicothe.
The two semifinal winners will play each other for the Chillicothe Regional title at 6 p.m. Friday in Chillicothe.
Class 1A
Princeville Regional
Abingdon-Avon (6) will play Princeville (7) at 3 p.m. Saturday in Abingdon in the quarterfinals. The winner will take on top-seeded Biggsville (West Central) in the regional semis at 6 p.m. Monday in Princeville.
On the other side of the bracket, Elmwood (5) will take on Stark County (12) at 1 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood. The winner will play fourth-seeded Wethersfield (25-4) at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Princeville.
The two semifinal winners will play each other at 7 p.m. Friday in Princeville. The winner of the Princeville Regional will play the winner of the Lewiston Regional at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the Bushnell Sectional.
Annawan Regional
Ninth-seeded Ridgewood (Alwood/Cambridge coop) will play ROWVA (10) at 6 p.m. Saturday in Woodhull. The winner will play second-seeded Annawan (22-6) at 6 p.m. Monday in the regional semis in Annawan.
On the other side of the bracket, 8-seed Monmouth (United) will play Galva (11) at 3 p.m. Saturday in Monmouth. The winner will take on Brimfield (3) in the regional semis at 7:30 p.m in. Annawan.
The two semifinal winners will play each other at 7 p.m. Thursday in Annawan. The winner of the Annawan Regional will take on the winner of the Mendon Unity Regional in the Sectional semifinals at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 20, at the Bushnell Sectional.
