Kewanee weekend police blotter for Jan. 26-28

Friday:

Kaitlin M. Reynolds, 22, Kewanee, was arrested for retail theft following a report of retail theft in the 700 block of Tenney Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Elliott Street.

Police responded to a report of an animal bite in the 400 block of North Cottage Street.

Kaitlin M. Reynolds, 22, Kewanee, was arrested for retail theft following a report of retail theft in the 400 block of South Main Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 300 block of North East Street.

Veronica Santiago Figueroa, 29, Kewanee, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with suspended registration for no insurance following a traffic stop in the 600 block of East Second Street. She was given a notice to appear. Diana Garibay, 38, Kewanee, was arrested for a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for driving suspended and a Stark County warrant for failure to appear for driving suspended. She posted bond.

A damage-only traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Silvia Logsdon, 32, Kewanee, and Ronnie Reed, 63, Kewanee, was reported in the 100 block of East South Street. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Police responded to a report of retail theft in the 300 block of Tenney Street.

A traffic accident was reported in the 300 block of South Main Street.

Police responded to a report of theft of labor or services or use of property in the 100 block of West South Street.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Saturday:

Ethan F. Norsworthy, 18, Kewanee, was issued a citation for failure to yield following a traffic stop at First and Main streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Athalia M. Empson, 21, Toulon, was issued citations for no insurance, operating a vehicle with suspended registration for no insurance and no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop at Second and Park streets. She was given a notice to appear.

Demetrius E. Lucas, 31, Kewanee, was arrested for criminal trespass to state-supported land x2 following a report of criminal trespass to state-supported land at Fairview Laundromat. He was given a notice to appear.

A vehicle driven by Cindy L. Vanwassenhove, 60, Kewanee, struck a dog following a report of an accident at Ninth and Walnut streets. No citations were issued.

An animal at large was impounded at Sixth and Adams streets.

Theft over $500 was reported in the 800 block of Lake Street.

Jerry A. Nanninga, 32, Kewanee, was arrested for aggravated battery following a report of a tavern disturbance in the 200 block of South Boss Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

An animal was impounded in the 200 block of Payson Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop at East and Pleasant streets.

Sunday:

Joel B. Herrera, 26, Kewanee, was arrested for DUI A2, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, no lights when required, and resisting a peace officer following a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Second Street. He was given notices to appear.

Police responded to a report of criminal sexual assault in the 100 block of West Garfield Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of North East Street.

An animal at large was reported at Fairview Homes.

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of South Washington Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 300 block of Liberty Lane.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 400 block of Dwight Street.

Police responded to a report to remove an unwanted subject in the 400 block of United Lane.
