Kewanee police blotter for Jan. 18

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of West Oak Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Main Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Lyle Street.

A hit and run accident was reported in the 1200 block of East Third Street. An unknown vehicle struck a parked and unattended vehicle owned by James A. Hodge, 73, Kewanee, and left the scene. There were no injuries or citations.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 100 block of South Tremont Street.

A hit and run accident was reported in the 2000 block of Kentville Road.

An animal running at large at Edwards and South streets was impounded.

An animal was reported running at large in the 500 block of Odea Street.

Johnny W. Cordrey, 75, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear at a pretrial hearing for violating the sex offender registration act and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1800 block of Lake Street.

Police received a report of domestic battery in the 400 block of East Third Street.
