Police responded to a 9-1-1 call that was determined to be a misdial in the 200 block of NW Second Avenue.
Police assisted the Henry County Sheriff’s Office with a motorist who had driven into the ditch on Route 34 east of Galva. The subject was transported to the Galva Police Department for DUI processing and taken to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a dog at large in the 700 block of NW Fifth Avenue. The owners were warned about the Illinois leash law.
Police spoke with a subject about a residential burglary that had occurred recently in the 00 block of NW Third Street. The situation remains under investigation.

Police responded to a crossing arm malfunction at the crossing on NE Second Street. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Morgan McCaw, 25, Cambridge, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration for no insurance in the 500 block of North Center Avenue. He was released with a court date.
Police were called to assist the Knox County Sheriff’s Department with a single-vehicle accident near the Galva Cemetery. The subject was arrested for DUI by the Knox County officers.
Police responded to a complaint of a cat that had been left outside in the 900 block of SE Second Street.
